Your adventure starts with a peaceful camel ride over the sandy Erg Chebbi dunes with your guide. As the sun sets and makes the sky turn red and orange, you'll get to our camp, where we'll have tea and snacks for you.
From sunset on
After you get settled in your private luxury tent, you can walk up a dune to see the amazing sunset. Later, we'll serve a tasty 4-course dinner in our main tent. The night ends around a warm campfire, where you'll enjoy the sounds of Berber music before we show you the stars in the clear desert sky.
Starts at sunrise
Wake up to the quiet of the desert and watch a beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After this magic moment, we'll serve a big, fresh Berber breakfast with bread, jams, eggs, and juice. After you eat, you'll ride a camel or a 4x4 back to Merzouga, filled with memories that will last forever.

🔍 Common Questions About Our Camp
Do the tents have private bathrooms and hot water?
Yes, of course. Every tent at our Merzouga luxury desert camp has its own private bathroom with a normal toilet, sink, and a hot water shower. This gives you total comfort and privacy in the Sahara desert.
Is there electricity and WiFi in the desert camp?
Our camp uses solar power. Your tent has lights and plugs to charge your phone or camera. We have free WiFi in the main lounge tent. We hope you take time to enjoy the quiet desert, but the WiFi is good for checking emails or messages.
What should I pack for a night in the desert?
We suggest you bring long pants for the camel ride, regular shoes (not sandals), sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring a sweater or jacket, as it can get cold at night. And don't forget your camera!
Is the camp good for kids?
Yes, kids love the adventure here! The camel ride, sliding down sand dunes, and all the open space is very fun for them. Our Family Tents are perfect for families to stay in comfortably.
